I love that synthy bass :D I love how you say you’re taking a break from music for a while, then your turn into an awesome music making machine :D haha

Haha - well, all I can say is that I find myself caring a lot less, which has been great for my output. :)

Thanks for the review - I appreciate it.

I thought this was going more places than it did! It started out with all the ingredients and then just when I thought you were going to let it rip….it stopped!

Part 2 please!

Well, it is twice the BPM of the original, so it only makes sense that it’s half as short, yes? :)

Yeah, you’re right. There is a second half waiting to be told. It’s a non-trivial thing to come up with though - it has to be similar enough to the first half to make sense, but different enough to be interesting.
I’ll think about it.

Oh, and thanks. Much appreciated.

This is such a good fit for kcentric’s pella: he’s got lots of retro pop culture references, and your backing track is full of musical retro references, like the TR-808 style drumming. :)

That’s a great comment - glad you noticed. I (mostly) stuck to old-fashioned synthesized sounds for this one, including most of the drums.

Thanks for taking the time to listen and to leave a review. I find myself with less time to do that these days, so I greatly appreciate it.

Thanks, TRF - really glad you think so. When I heard KCentric’s pella I immediately thought of doing the beat double-time.
I made it on headphones last night, and was a bit underwhelmed with the bass response when I listened to it again this morning. For best results, listen on a fat-bass system, with the volume turned up to 11. :)

it is so short that i have to listen to it 3 times to be satisfied.
I like that old school ‘pop-hip-hop’ style.
Quite perfect tune.

And that’s quite a perfect way to bring a smile to my face. :)

Thanks for the very nice words - glad you liked. I’ve been thinking about a revised version for a while now that would extend it - but haven’t had any time to work on music. We’ll see. :)
