Thanks! The version you made based on cdk’s track really connected with me - but my take was pretty different, so I wasn’t sure whether you’d like. Really glad you did. |

“blessed selfishness” sums it up somehow - and i’m not saying this because it’s late, i’m tired and cannot come up with something original myself. i reckon creativity is always a bit (or very) selfish.

Ahh now. Very likely true, but I sometimes for the wrong reasons. I have been known to make tracks for the wrong reasons - with the explicit hope that someone else will like them. So. Yeah, there’s that. Thank you for the comment. Much appreciated. |

they’re your toys & it’s your inspiration, you have every right to do it for yourself. let’s face it, we all do. but in this case there’s no cause for remorse. you’ve put one of your most interesting B/T’s to Ms. Vybe’s soul-searingly honest & accessible rap. 900

That’s an excellent way to describe her lyrics and delivery. And thanks for the thumbs up re: the backing track - this one was very personal, so I’m both surprised and really glad you liked. |

I love those Tangerine Dream-esque synths.

Even this sounds sort of “harder” than your other work, or most of your uploads, it has drops of sweetness though.
But I really like this part of your musical world as the synths go well together and I have sort of favorate feelings for electronic/synth music. |

Glad you found the drops in there. I learned a few years ago that there are limits to where I can go musically. Meaning: I have come to accept that I am a soft-hearted romantic. :) Thanks again. |

You somehow manage to heighten the spooked fragility latent in the lyrics to a point of barely controlled hysteria without compromising their punchy sharpness. The music conveys a disorientating sense of standing on the edge of an abyss, which is unexpected yet totally in keeping and to me gives your mix an extra dimension of emotional realism - which the others don’t quite have, great as they are.

Wow - thanks for that very thoughtful review. The lyrics and delivery really connected with me, and I really wanted to create a backing track that complemented the vocals. Thanks again - appreciate it. |
