Your tracks are just so consistently good with great sound, composition, and use of source, I could recommend without even listening (although I do listen, because that would be cheating!). I particularly love how Narva9’s delicate voice floats among the heaviness of the rap. And I don’t know about you, but I find lots of water helps a hangover.

Thank you! I wanted to find a lighter element to offset the sort of heavy sound, and I was very glad to have come across narva9’s recording - it was just right, and I’m really glad you got that.

Oh, and re: water? Yeah - that would have been smart. You know. In retrospect. :)

Hahaha. There were only three of your samples, and they already sounded great together. :)

I’m very glad you liked it. I felt very lucky to work with your materials.

My best songs are made when drunk or having a hangover. I can hear that you have a similar relation to alcohol.

Ahh - I don’t know. I was in a bit of a pissy mood for most of the day yesterday, so I don’t think I’ll go back to testing that out again. :)

Thanks Per.

Sparkling clarity; snappy and strong; and Narva floating on the full, dark river of rap. (Blimey - I’m so poetic.) Fab mix as usual, Colab, you piss-head! xxxx

Hahaha. Nice. :)

You know that outside of the U.K. most people translate “pissed” to “angry”.

I don’t know which would be worse for my reputation. :)

Thanks for the review.

P.S. - I have something mulling re: your latest. It’ll be grand. :)

Oh yes, what a great idea when Narva appears, to cut the sound like that. Really inspired..This could be a very good “SecretMixter” remix.

But, what had you seen, the day you took the photo for your new avatar..?..You seem so “..pissed..”..;-)

Thanks! It’s a technique I probably use too much (apply a low-pass filter on a beat to give other elements a chance to stand out). The cut-over isn’t really elegantly done now that I listen to it again, but I didn’t want to work on the track a second day. :)

Hahaha. No, actually, I’m Swedish. That’s just my normal face, enjoying the sunshine. :)

Now that_s something. Wonderful idea to slow down all instrumentals when narva9 appears. She sounds so innocent against the rest.
Having put out some critical remarks for your latest remix, this one really convinces in every point…

Thank you - that’s how I know you mean it. :)

I still think the idea was good, but now that I listen to it I’m not that pleased with how the actual transitions happened.

Ah well. Next time. :)

Umm. I forgot about this one. :)

Bit of a change of pace from the other two tracks I posted - but as I was working through this I wanted something to balance the heavy beat/rap and lighten it up a bit.

Sort of funny to imagine all of you hanging out in the studio together though - BOCrew, Forensic and Narva9. :)
