Nice sound space you’ve created here colab, I love the measured approach to the accordion complimented by the great piano chords and sync synth stabs.
This is going to loop on my stereo all morning :)

Thanks! I particularly appreciate the comment re: measured approach, because the Saturday morning version was very full, very dense, and I did some work to strip things out to make sure I didn’t swamp it.

Oh, and the sync synth stabs - they are actually a Hammond RT3 sound with a delay. :)

Thanks again.

Great sense of space and atmosphere. I like the piano harmonies a lot, and the tango accordion adds to the dark, uncertain mood.

Thanks! I did the bass first, and then recorded the piano to complement it.

It’s a really simple chord progression - only three piano/bass chords that rotate throughout - but I played more with the build-up of what elements play at any given time.

Thanks for leaving a note - I appreciate it.

Hey now - “art” is a mighty big word to use in this case - but thank you nonetheless, it’s great to get the feedback. :)

There are a series of farming roads around the N7 in Belgium , I was driving on last year, heading north and late to catch a flight out of Brussels.

Straight and relentless they are cutting thru miles of flat farm land with no building to speak of they seem to go on forever.

French radio drifting in over the Dutch. This sounds like that journey.

Thanks. That’s the most personal review you’ve left - and I very much appreciate it.

Glad you liked.

Wow! I love this one. With all your trademark subtlenesses (is that even a word?…well, it is now) which I appreciate very much in your music.

Thank you very much. It’s funny how this happens sometimes - I did this one pretty quickly and was really hesitant about it - so it’s really rewarding to get positive feedback.

Especially nice to hear comments about the subtleness-es - because I used to believe quite strongly that the way to improve music was to add more. :)

Thanks again.

I really like the keyboard sounds. Their conventionality moves into something really original in the way you have placed them and treated them in the mix.

Very nice!!

Well hello there. Quite a nice surprise.

Just a heads up - I can’t in good honesty recommend working through all of my tracks here. :)

Hope you stick around for a bit. Put your feet up, pour a glass of wine; and who knows, you might be uploading tracks before long. :)
