Well, for being short and supposedly a rush-job, this has a well-considered feel to it. Did I really list a bpm for this? I had simply written it and read it into the mic. Nice blend of clear and murfled, your mix gives a certain unique tension, and the vocoded/distorted additions are well placed. Thanks for the remix!

Well, no - not a rush job as such - I didn’t have any particular deadline on it - more that it came together quickly, and by the time I had this cut, I thought: “yeah, that’s about right”. :) Anyway - thanks for the vocals - enjoyed working with them. Just too short. :) |

Dreamy in a sort of twelve monkeys sort of fashion. Doesn’t feel rushed to me, rather it feels just about right. Nice job here.

Hey Colab
Somehow this sends me to a moving images night time after hour in a city that no one is around! Have you ever thought of putting some video or photos on your music and if so let me know, i would love to watch and listen ! George |

No, that’s a space I’ve always wanted to get into, but with other priorities (work, family, music) I have never been able to pull off. I love the idea, but it’s one of those backburner items. You know. Along with a few others. :) Thanks for your note - appreciate it. |

Hey, go ahead and quit your boring job and start making the videos for your soundtracks. What are you waiting for??
I write you the concept and storyboard ;-)! Just a point: Instead of using some strange vocoders that sound like a 2 bit voice of a Hongkong puppie, you should use a talkbox. Easy to use and to build. Look here: http://de.youtube.com/watch... (to the glory memory of the unbelievable Roger Troutman) That_s the only thing that I would like to see different :-) But overall a very “Colab” track of the good sort! |

Great feel to this. I really like the bass sounds against the others.
The vox is a great example of what good vocoding can sound like. |

Great capture of mood and atmospherics. Ear candy deluxe!

Thanks - means a lot to me, because I admire your ability to mix your tracks just so. But I’m staying off music for a few days - I’m off sick right now with an ear infection, so everything I listen to sounds odd and muted; and not in a daft-punk-cool sort of way either. :) |

Hey Colab—I do like the mood that the distortion gives this, creates a differnt take on the words. Hope ya ears better :)

oh yeah - this one hits the spot. The crispness of the instrumentation around the extreme lo-fi voice really works for me. Nicely done indeed!
