The way you’ve applied fx and panned the vocals at the beginning is fairly fun. You give a lot of space to the lead vocals, which I like. The beat and melody you use is quirky and well-done.

The little noise wave that begins around :58 is a nice segue into the female vocals. The bass line is nice. The noise wave perhaps is over-used, though.

I love a gong, and it would have been hard for me to resist putting one in here, too.

By the end, the beat has gotten a bit “been there, done that”. A longer extro with perhaps a break into an uptempo electrnic beats section and a reversion to the sound of the early going might have been more fun.

This one has a lot of good things in it, and I enjoyed listening to it.

By the way, you mention using a “database of loops”. If you have the right to use this sample, and it requires attribution, you should spell out the attribution. Even if it is designated as PD, courtesy would still argue for giving credit where credit is due. It’s part of a sharing culture—giving credit where it’s due.
