Very good low end, a synth I think. I like very much the room of the percussion. You are very good at creating the trip hop atmosphere, love that. Alittle issue I see is in the pitch changes, need a little coordination with vocals. (in my opinion)

Very pretty … I particularly like the atmospheric touches. At first the acoustic guitar seemed too loud, but it grew on me. Interesting counterpoint to the synth tracks. Very nice buildup to the outro.

At first I thought that you had got the EQ all wrong as the sound started out so thin but as the track progressed I could see your idea as the bass sounds developed very nicely.
Personally I still think you need something at the start to give it a little low end to contrast with the highs of the instruments and vox. At the end of the day though that is just personal preference and does not take away from what is a very nice mix. |

Yes, i understand.
If i haven’t put any bass, it’s not with my EQ i had problem, but with all the arrangement. But i like the “acoustic folk” begin, “léger”, it’s not loud and i like it. I’m always in search of a progression, contrast. After, as you say, it’s just personal preference. ;-) |
