I hear drama. I hear sexual tension. I hear crime. And that’s not the lyrics but the arrangement. It’s like listening to some smoky 60’s film-noir flick.

Interesting how you dealt with the melodic chorus shift.
Slinky , like an `Our Man Flint Theme. I like it. :-) |

Dear Waysidedrive! I’m glad you like it! I always worried about, what is the remixed author’s opinion. Especially when, -as now- the original sample is a complete track.
Thank you again for your high quality work, I truly loved the work. This mix is one of my favourites, but whist!… don’t tell nobody! :) By the way, your avatar is excellent! |

Love this track! Enough retro vibe to set up a smile of recognition, enough contemporary Zapac-ism to be fresh. Bravo!

Smooth soul, with hints of that classic sixties Motown and nu-soul. The horns, rhodes, its all worth a million bucks. :)

This is a bit different for you Zap, hmmmmm then again. You do cover a wide spectrum of styles. It slides between eras it seems. Starts out in the 60’s and then the very end sounds very today! Nice work :)

This is so good I was sorry to hear it stop. Waysidedrive is a talented group and generous sample provider, a favorite of mine, and it’s a treat to hear what you did with them here. Excellent music.

Swingin’ and jazzy. Two adjectives I don’t use lightly. Great song!

This remix has the same magic attraction to me like the one of propeller heads, that was in the charts all over Europe a couple of years ago. Allthough its a little bit more sostenuto! Splendid work!

INCREDIBLE remix, Zapac. Wow. You never cease to amaze me. This was worth the lack of sleep. :) I don’t know what else to say, so I guess I’ll just press play again.
