Thanks, I did some pitch shifting but I hardly adjusted any time at all, kinda freaky actually..lol
And as far as instrumentation it’s almost all Admiral Bob. I added a little piano, cimbalon, and accordion.

Thank you, yeah other than the pitch shifting I’m actually pretty proud of how little I actually did on this one. :)

Well, it’s a lot less than I usually do. Usually I have like a thousand warp markers in Live, I think I only used about 20 on this…then again it was like 3 in the morning so..I might not remember half of what I did…lol

yeah, my sets always look extremely patchwork. really cool how it just snapped into place. quite serendipitous.

I think in my lack of sleep I mixed up my experiences, it was on a previous track “Lady of Shallot” I did no time changes at all. Just recorded to the track as is. I definitely remember tweaking this one. :)

I see. well, good job on the tweaking, and nice accompaniment on Lady of Shallot. loved the bass on that.

Thanks, ok last comment on this one. I cut the vocals out of the intro, I think it works better this way.

Beautiful! Love the vocal fit; the accordion, melodica or whatever that is; and the wistful rolling acoustic piano. I really like this acoustic mood you’ve been in - you’re turning out great work with it! :)

Thanks, yeah it’s an accordion, cimbalon, and piano. It’s funny, I spent hours and hours trying to make a good acoustic folk track and right when I was sort of satisfied with it I stumbled into your track and decided to start over at like 3 in the morning and just use yours.
I try to take it in the direction that my first impressions are with a pella…what genre seems to be the ‘home’ but, I’m sure when I do get in a mood I probably try to force some vocals in there, I know I’ve done it with some of the jazz stuff. Then sometimes I have a track already and I really want to find a pella for it and can’t. I have a reggae track right now with that problem…guess it’s time to just upload the samples and see what happens with it.
