I’m diggin’ the beat; I don’t understand the lyrics (though I am supposedly learning Spanish) but the melody flows nicely. When I want a “full” sounding piano that has been hand-coded, I use CVPiano (have a reeeeally fast computer tho). I find SquidFont Orchestral has nice bongos that have different soundfonts for velocity.

I like it but my headphones can tell the difference…

thx for the reply.
will give the CVPiano a try (queued).

i tested… maybe my ears are “damaged” but… it sounded like a piano (it really does) but i can’t recognize a heavy difference.

Maybe you hear my bad play not bad sampled piano *g*

The simple but effective backing is just right for this beautiful and melancholic pella. The only bad thing is that it’s too short. Love it!

it’s effective as it is now, with this simple arrangment. You’re right, it’s a sketch, but it is lovely indeed, and sometimes if you bring this to a record company they might like this more than a polished track, since the song is beautiful and shows a lot of potential for an experienced producer (so you give them something that they can put their hands on and feel part of the creative process). Don’t be ashamed for the piano playing, sounds just right.

Lovely, delicate, light with a hint of melancholy.
