With maybe a bit of “Then There Were Three” Genesis thrown in, in spots.

One nice subtle touch I must tip the hat too - the string wipe at the very end of the song. :) Since you’re not a guitar player (I don’t think anyway), that was a nice bit of deliberate ambiance.

Mmm…that’s nice. I liked that album. Thank you, sir.
I smashed the guitar in a terrible doorframe accident 15 years ago but I’m becoming decently skilled with the midi spreadsheets I’m using if I may say so. Same-same but different.

Brilliant debut as a singer! Yeah - your notion of a Springsteen-Simple-Minds genre catches the caracter very well. Keep coming with such tracks! Cheers and respect!

a satisfying close to an interesting project. you’ve re-mixed 5 songs with strong vocals, new melodies, and always superior arrangements and given them new life. thanks so much.

It’s been a pleasure listening and I don’t want to believe it’s really the last time you’ll be singing. Looking forward to these stems too. I can envision (enhear?) a remix called Not That Way.

Thanks, Denny. No, it’s not the last time. Just thought it would be fun to do something else for a while. Will post stems and pella tonight. Really looking forward to hearing your version, should you decide to do something with it.

Geez… this is so very good. All around. It has been wonderful hearing these Panu-songs-gone-Timberman. I’ve listened to this one twice already… going in for a third. Just fantastic. (Oh, we’ll get you singin’ again some time… oh yes…) ;)

It has that kind of unagitated scandinavian coolness - very nice (and I love the North).

This is definitely a bit different than the usual, more mainstream. Excellent mix on this Per. Didn’t you do some singing in the past here? Your vocal has a nice quality so keep on singing :)

Thanks, Greg. Yes, I sang on a few tracks earlier in the ccm career but it’s not until now I’ve started to enjoy singing and I hope my singing is better now than then despite all limitations.

Whoa.

Listen.

BIG Music! Nice orchestral production quality. Well done.

Nice strings. Someday I’m going to find some strings that don’t sound cheesy.
