yeah, the backing mix has a great “nawlins” neville brothers feel to it, especially with the percussive beats. love the string pads and organ. it fits the wolfly pella like it’s made to order. great remix.
also, nice avatar! :P |

Phwaw! I feel absolutely elated after listening to this. It’s so exhilarating - your fabulous b/t driving everything along at such a spine-tingling pace and then finishing with those beautiful, rather dreamy and romantic chords. Great a capella too. I love this, Per. xxx

Interesting and unexpected use of my samples. Obviously there’s a lot of other stuff in it which aren’t from the listed sources - did you produce those parts yourself?
Some of the vocal timing is a little bit rough, which kind of comes out even more because of the precision of the backing tracks, but it’s not like you can really do a lot about that, and other than that it sound great! |

Hi Fluffy. I only used the organ part of your “Sorry to inform you”. (Brilliant title, by the way). The rest is my own playing, some midi work and cutting of various percussive samples. Yes, this acapella is a litle bit tricky as it is so intensely sung and it’s quite wet so there are no silent spaces between the phrases to cut so I had to lay out the whole verses over the music. That’s always tricky business. Glad you like it anyway!

and fluffy is quite the organ player. i should know i’ve played with him! (i’m the guy on guitar behind “king arthur”)

AMAZING! Too bad you’re hardly visible behind the front guy. Still, much enjoyed! Also nice to see the organ man in person. I wish there was a film to watch of each one of the makers of the samples I’ve used on ccM ever. So much more intimate and personal. Maybe a coming feature:)

you’ve worked a long time to master the re-mixer’s art. and now you’re at the point where your heart is free to create unselfconsciously whatever it hears. i’m always moved by that part of your palette.

fantastic, beau.
is a really intriguing piece of music, full of atmosphere. some things remind me of Peter Gabriel in one of his many multiethnic’s blunders , I hope you do not mind this comparison, because I like this more than those of PG |

This is just what I needed — a full dose of swedish voodo chic drama. Man this is good!

Swampy and mysterious, full of percussive and deep-n-low textures, reminiscent somewhat of the soundtrack for “The Lost Boys.” The elements are all perfectly chosen for the dark mystery you’re evoking.

A brilliantly produced remix. I love everything about it, but the percussion the most. What’s it with you people up north that makes your music so damn good?
|
|
.
Oh, thanks, Sub. The thing with us up north is we don’t get out enough. We tend to spend the days in the “studio”. I did leave home once last week, though. Had a few beers with Colab who is visiting his old hometown at the moment. He’s such a smart and funny guy. You should have been here too. A quick Ryanair hop from Holland. Next year?

I really love it Per. The mood - the whole sexy sound - very good addition to your repertoire. |

Really great, if I would be a movie director, I would take this track for my next movie soundtrack.

Witchy woman. She does say there’s a price. Really great musical track here to support the words. Really great musical track even if there weren’t any words. So did you choose these two samples because fluffy and wolffly are such complimentery names? (That’s something I would do.)

My schedule does not allow me to be here always present, and I beg you to excuse me, but it was with surprise that I discovered from time to time, your talent and your new music. My Swedish Friend advance, and advance further in complexity, and I welcome it. Excellent still here.

I heard this one tonight with a big delay. It’s on my favourites’ playlist and my portable mp3 player now, I simply can’t do without.
