beautifully done, Per. the sound & vibe of the song are spot on. the choice of instruments & voicings perfect ( well played, too! ). sounds like it was done in a high-end studio.

Wow. Thank you so much. And the Nick Drake comparison… Are you saying that I’m a genius before my time or that I’m destined to overdose on antidepressants? Just kidding! ;)

Honestly, I feel honored that you would take the time to produce my stuff. I absolutely love it!

Thanks, Ben. No intention to suggest any other similarities apart from the voice:)

Glad you liked it.

I can tell your style on the first chord. Just a beautiful piece of music here. I can hear this in a movie.

I have heard of Nick Drake, but never heard his music. If this is an indication of his music then I definitely should check it out. Great stuff.

This is lovely, Per: Gentle, melancholy, flowing, atmospheric. Just lovely. And thank you for telling me to listen to Nick Drake. I’m a bit of a fan now! A bigger fan of yours, though. xxx

Another excellent mix. This one has a melancholy about it that goes real well with the tone of the vocals. Plus it’s educational, I had not known of Nick Drake.

Terrific setting for Ben’s pell — sincerity and warmth emanating from this track. Love it!

You are such a hopeless romantic. St.P! :-) And I mean that in a very good way - there can never be enough romance in this world!

Thks, Spin. I’m working on becoming a less romantic remixer. Getting tired of my own mixes before the´re even uploaded is a clear sign of change needed….:)

Nice winds in here. Also like the strings but I like the winds more, hehe.
Tech, Aspcts: I find the reverb a little loud making the space in the voice a little empty, less revb for my taste, more plate, less room.

I agree with you, Durden, this song is a hasty work. Also, I’ve screwed up Ben’s voice by re-pitching it too hard.

Beautiful…Sound and Lyrics! This tracks been out a week already wow time flys, yep sure sounds like Nick and this track reminds me of Paper Moon without the acoustic. He was ahead of his time maybe and adding orchestration might of not suited alot of folks then he was labeled a folk artist i think. When ya ever going to get that acoustic out to play!! i bet its bored?

Hey now.

This is truly one of your all-time top tracks. Absolutely fantastic work.

But just to show that I’m still my old self - perhaps the snare would sound better in the intro without the reverb.

There. That’s more like it. :)
