I’ll admit, what impressed me here was the refusal to let either Beatlesque tunefulness, or postmodern twistiness, dominate the overall interpretation. Good choice for Ed. Pick- real enough to sink home, but hooky enough to linger longer…

I love the way the snare almost trips over itself. A great pairing with the lyrics, the music is also simultaneously sweet and confused. Cheers.
