it might interest you to know that this track is louder than a Metalllica song. with over 5500 peaks above 0db (the threshhold of digital distortion), clicking on the play button the listener is literally assaulted rather than entertained. tip of the week: try reducing your gain -6 to -8db before the limiter to hear how this track would sound on most streaming services.

panu, who would have ever thought that our very own dragonfly snowflake would ever appear in a song that not only sounds like metallica, but is also louder? considering that our very own shadow floret snowflake thought of this acapella as an edm burner.

anyway thanks for the tip. i was just lying in bed listening to the big bang theory. but of course i immediately read your review and listened to the sound of the song on my 120 dollar dockin d bluetooth speakers and thought to myself that the double mastering by two artificial intelligences might have ruined everything. but to my relief nothing was distorted.

but where you’re right, you’re right. it’s too loud and aggressive. so i’ll make a second version of the song. a children and pensioners version and then replace the metallica version with that.

but all the excitement and the drama also have something good. through you, dear panu, i now listen to my own music again, and no longer the song of a famous artist on spotify, who propagates alternative life models with his song that are in truth alien to me, but which i ignore because i like the music so much. but my own music is still the best.

thank you panu.
