I like this one the most out of all of yours so far.
You made this w/Windows Movie Maker? Are you f-ing serious? That’s awesome!!! I gotta try that out. P.S. - Can I request a different song for #16? ;) |

Yes I’m serious. Although, another user (Ran Dumb Dots…… .. .) told me about a program called “Audacity”, so I might start using that. And I also have a “Casio SK-1” Keyboard that I don’t use, but I am going to start messing around on it, and will maybe use some of the stuff I make with that in my Mixes.
P.S. - Yes… P.S.S. With “Movie Maker”, I sliced the A Capella down to size (for some reason it is 6:48 long) and then I save it as a Video file, so I can control wether the Vocals (the Video) or the Music (the audio track: Wma, Mp3, etc.) is louder. That way, the Music doesn’t drown out the Vocals, or vise-versa. Just a friendly tip. |

I like the feel you’ve got on this one. I like the percussion, the raucous feel, and the way you’ve brought out the dynamics in the vocals.
This is much better than some of the other 14 remixes (at least, those of the 15 I’ve checked out). I wish, in a way, you’d posted just this and one other, as you’ve made a much better statement with this one than with the lesser mixes. I do love, by the way, the economy in using movie maker for your mixer. Fun. This mix really works for me. Popping, odd sounds, great beat, it works for me. Here the notion of a “video game sound” is not a put-down, because it’s like the best things about videotronics. I hope we hear more like this from you as time goes on, and perhaps less rush to post as many as you can. |
