Hey, thanks for remixing Falling! I really like the new arrangement. It’s fascinating to see my song transformed like that. ^_^

I pretty much like the guitarpop / indie feel this has.
The glitch beat really is doing it.

this song — in this form — just took me :) but this was not all…
then I went on to listen to the original…
as well as other remixes…
and I was amazed !!!

cause this is so different than the others…
other remixes… other adaptations…

while the others (the other good and sensitive artists who fell for this amazingly beautiful song-poem) would keep to the song’s Björk-like quality… which is, regarding how mind-blowing Björk is, no surprise at all :))… Stefan just “dropped” it… and I still can’t believe it :) :)

I mean, didn’t stick to the dramatic “hecticism” which is totally Björk :)
but made it a beautifully fluent flow…

this is a totally different approach than all other remixes …
but the situation can be described better, too…

this is not like “Stefan took a different approach” …
I think it’s, instead, that he fell for this beautiful song-poem (I keep using this term about Zutsuri-s original, I never used it before, actually) and …
went on to liberate it, to help it unfold in its full bloom…

I think he amazingly succeeded… :) :)

and, as a matter of fact, “Björk” is still there !!!
thanks to the beautiful lyrics!!

“there might be a chance” ←← totally evokes Björk… big time :)
but this line has a well made up context…
cause it’s a soft love “story”… it’s the 2010s… not the 19th century or the 20th…

I would say that the Björkish quality only comes out when you listen to the words…
otherwise you get a NEW thing… a new attitude… (without the young female’s being oversensitive, and attention-seeking, and a border-liner)
loving… but beautifully… not for gaining something…

and this is absolutely enlarged in this unbelievable adaptation….
now we can see its true value…

musically speaking, we should note that the orchestration is.. also at FULL BLOOM !! :) OMG !! :)

yet it’s so subtle!!! soprano saxophone.. bass guitar… strings on synth.. SO complex!!! so perfect !!! every note is not only at place… but sounds as vivid as if Zutsuri and he were in one space, at one place at the same time, playing music together…

I personally fell for this song, too… but in Stefan’s adaptation… totally…
I have listened to it like 600 times in the past few days… including nights…
and — back to complexity — I noticed that the bass is not loud enough…

(which gave me an opportunity to make an ultra-slightly modified version of this adaptation, by adding an extra bass track to it, which I call a temporary version cause Stefan, you should do it… it’s your vision…
also… it’s your respect and adoration toward the core of the song, I mean, it’s obvious that in the end you took all your tracks like “other than her voice”, and pulled them some 6-9 decibels down, so that the original would not be completely dissolved in your musical vision… which I think was a beautiful mistake :)
)

but back to the originality of this adaptation, even the very first tunes on the synth — which sort of define a sound scape, like the world of a good sci-fi movie — are totally perfect matches for the song…

there’s a lot of sensitive creation behind this remix… (beautiful adaptation)
and this is not only a beautiful remix but … more
for I think, this song has reached a perfect form now….
I’m happy to have witnessed this !! :)

this is eternal :)

thank you
