I remember the Shoemaker-Levy impact. I believe it was during or just after my failed attempt at astronomy at Leiden University (where we also tried to launch the good professor Oort in an orbit around earth using revolving doors). Anyway, cool track, but I agree that it might be even better as a backing track for someone else’s vocals.

No kiddin’… you’re a failed astronomer? Well, you are one-up on me. I’m just a dude interested in astronomy. Took an astronomy class in college; and went to a “Star Party”; but that’s about the extent of my formal education on the matter. Thanks for supporting me, you crazy Dutchman. Hey, I’ve been meaning to ask you (because I think of you when the Netherlands appears in the news); Why do you guys have an African Chief/King’s decapitated head in a big jar, preserved in formaldehyde? Heard that on NPR last week.

That’s something from our colonial past. Not necessarily the best chapter from our history. Anyway, he was sentenced to death after a couple of dutch people were killed by his tribe. It all had to do with putting an end to slavery.

I was just yankin’ your chain. I meant no disrespect to your country. You probably already know that; knowing me. The USA has done far worse. We can’t do anything about our histories. Thanks again, my friend.

very meaty, and plenty of room for remixing. Well done. Scream-o, anyone?
