This to me has great potential, but there’s just a little too much room in it for me; I kept wanting some kind of a snap, or click, or chitter in there somewhere, just seemed a bit too naked, airy and slippery, if that makes any sense… I do love the whole creepiness of the sample,though- gives it an “Exorcist” or “Silent Hill” kinda vibe.

I have to disagree with the Duckster, though I understand his points, but this worked for me.

You are really crafting your own futurist brand of progressive hip hop, taking disparate sound elements and making them sound like they should go together in a arrangement. Your minimalist techniques amount to a lot.

A great beat should make you vibe and headnod, and this does.

I wish I had a better pell, this beat screams to be a little longer, and maybe with an effected pell.

I need to stop with the 1 verse pells, its a growing up on mixtapes thing.

But I really dig this, you really got a sound, you should craft production for a whole album.

You been away for a minute and it sounds like you locked yourself in the lab, or was trapped near your production equipment for weeks, awaiting rescue, and progressing your sonic style was the only thing that kept you sane in the lab.

Stark, underground, progressive and experimental.

You always made great beats, but I really like this focused, shaolin vs. lama disciplined style with your sound.

Is that chanting in the background I hear in the back of the mix? Sounds like low volume Buddha type chanting in the back.

This really works, just needs a more appropriate pell, something dripping with menance, tragedy and confidence.

You heard right….the chanting should probably be a little louder in the mix.

I been mad busy (like everybody else) plus Im trying to reorganize my setup and add in some new equipment. Im glad you like it. Preciate the review. Peace.
