Deep and dreamlike, like the thoughts that travel through the mind in that place between consciousness and sleep while contemplating dark things.

Yeah, nice concept piece set up, with the spoken word intro. You build a nice bed with the drums and subwoofy bass, and how you bring the different piano bits around the different vocals and spoke words parts are really effective.

love the way you’ve incorporated so many of smerkaba’s samples (especially that slide guitar!). you’ve set a sensual tone that moves and grooves. your treatment of each sample really makes it shine, giving it new life. this is a very impressive mix!!!!

Really like this—-can only repeat others nice and dark comments—The slide guitar especially is nicely used, adding to the hazy feel. I really like your beats and bass sounds, very nice production.

Quote: audiotechnicaI really like your beats
They are essentially merkabba’s beat. I rearranged them and treatend them a few times with eq comp en enhancers

Dreamy, varied trip hop, smooth except when it is rough, with a great haunting keys quick hit melody keeping it all entrancing. Very nice mix.

Whoa Abstract! This mix is amazing! It’s a dark marshland of lush sounds and samples that reveal mysterious worlds beneath the surface. It’s like those roses that are so red, they almost look black.

I feel autumn, and twilight, and a fire burning in the rain. Perfect timing for the season. And true to the theme of Behind the Mask.

I grew up in the woods of northern New Hampshire, in an old colonial house far from town. There was a space for my thoughts to wander up there. This mix reminds me of those times.

Actually, I got scared when I first heard it. The combination of words and sounds, and the treatment of my voice made me sound like Sauron from LOTR. Secret encantations were pouring from the speakers. Fantasy and reality blurred and the sky got darker.

Thank god for that piano, especially at the end, that pointed me up out of the depths and into the light.

Abstract Audio-with this mix you made me the luckiest secret mixter ever! Thank you very much!

I don´t know how to react, this is one of the best comments I´ve had. I´m glad that I could remind of your special place, I thought of putting `this is her sacred place` at the end. Reading your reply I will give it a place in this song, as it is in some way your sacred place.

I want at that for me it also has been a special remix its one of the best tracks I have ever made. Also it´s the first track where I feel I have mastered the process of completing a track. Not that I´ve never finished a track, but but the way I made this track is a good blue print for all following remixes/tracks.

This is indeed an impressive track. The sullen guitar flowing through the dark, dreary atmosphere… with the contrast of the light piano ping… Love it.

Wonderful piece of freshness. I like your conception of “darkness”.You are like David Cronenberg, but musically.

Wow! AA, this is amazing! I think it has all been said by others but I’ll add that I think the vocal effects are really interesting too.

I love working with vocals and putting weird fx on them
