Powerful use of those lungs! You sing this so well… so strong and rocking. And, of course, brilliant lyrics. I like your voice doin’ rock… it works really well.

Thanks so much. A bit of a departure for me but I enjoyed getting it off my chest. It’s always great to get the thumbs up from someone who is a very, very talented lyricist herself.

Well, look on the bright side…this is the first time in history where the longer you live the longer you will probably live. We may actually figure out how to stop aging altogether, then we would join some of the other creatures who never age or die for hundreds, thousands, millions…billions of years : )

Is that a good thing? Not sure : )

I think we should all die - otherwise we’ll use up the world’s resources and no one will have anything then. Thanks for your review, J!

I´m absolutely with Kara! Very strong rockish performance and I like a lot the mood, the sullen dispair that is raging against “the shape of things to come”!
Very great pella Ciggi! Chapeu

Thank you so much. I was a bit scared about doing something so different but I also like to push the boundaries sometimes.

At some point in everyone’s life, we all make a balance sheet, and we look back …. Hum! We can only note, that the time has passed …. it’s true we caught a few wrinkles.
But the future is ours, and there are still good times to come.
Many feelings in the timbre of your voice …. and perhaps also some questions pending ….
(It is only my impression of course .. (^O^) ..)

Another well written, thought provoking, naturalistic song. That’s maybe a little too relatable. Yesterday at the pharmacy (picking up my cholesterol meds) the lady in front of me gave 1921 as her birth date for identification. My first thought was ‘wow, you look great for 91’, then immediately ‘oh man, I don’t have to get that old do I?’

Next month I’ll be the same age as the year I was born (‘56). I like being older but I’m with you on the very old aspect - I’m not looking forward to ‘crumbly’! Thanks for your very nice review.

I had to laugh with shrunken head, large ears and thread-thin neck, cause I pictured myself for a second ;)
Well, yes, there’s nothing much ahead and in my case there is not much left behind… But no worries, I’m feeling fine! Kind of midlife crisis, I guess lol!
Great performance Ciggi! I don’t think I’ve ever have heard you this way, but I like it very much!!! Too many thanks and numerous up!

Thanks so much, Alex. I hoped very much that you wouldn’t think I’d spoiled your fab track. I’m afraid I, too, suffer from the small head-big ears-stringy neck syndrome and I’ve always looked like it!

I liked a lot your perfomance listened in the excellent Panu track.
I thought that your style was always sweet and gentle, but when you want, you got the power. You rock Ciggiburns!

Grazie! Mi sono divertita a impazzire la musica di Alex. La canzone successiva sarà calma e jazzy. Grazie ancora per la tua bella recensione.

Outstanding vocal delivery. A very difficult subject to tackle but you’ve dealt with it with great verve. Ciggi rocks!

Many thanks - especially as I know ‘shouty ones’ aren’t to your taste! So I really appreciate you stopping by to listen to me shrieking like a bansheee.

Thank you very much. I’m pleased you see the humour - I feel exactly the same. It’s the human condition so you have to laugh.

Great, Ciggi! No, it’s not the first time I hear this voice from you, and I like you sometimes write lyrics that push the boundary outer and wide.

I look down the road a few decades and try very much not to think about this. :) But it is the truth, unwelcome or not!

Me too! I’ve already got swimmy eyes and stiff fingers (but that’s the rum for you). Thanks so much for dropping by to listen.
