Yes, it is a little rough. But its a lot of fun…. a delicate song about being a baby coconut set to raunchy riffmaking is just so full of musical irony, that you just can’t help but give this song a hug. :)

My thoughts exactly. This fun (and very strange) project could be cool for the uniqueness and irony. I’m just not very good at mixing things. Thought someone may want to build on the idea. I looked on your page for some guitar (which I like very much yours specifically) but I had trouble finding something in the bpm I needed… |

Fun. Fun. Fun. It’s an extreme pleasure to hear your vocal and lyrical additions. I couldn’t have predicted that… so, a bunch o’ bonus points to you! Plus, the lil’ coconuts get to rock out (love the irony)! And yeah, a bit rough- but I like where you’re headed with this. :D

Thank you for adding your art to ccmixter. You were the inspiration for the song. I came across that and I was like “Wow. This is very pretty. What if we made the little coconut rock?” Rock is my number one favorite kind of music so it was lots of fun adding all the goodies from the other great artists as well. Any suggestions or help that you may have for how I can fix this up send me an e-mail pls. I have no clue what to do. Sing again no problem. Any mixing issues may be a problem. Of course…it could be remixed too. |

It’s a great quirky fun piece and as you’ve asked me I can only say what I would do.
I’d try to strike a balance with the levels so that all the transitions were a little bit smoother. The guitar chord riff seems to me to overpower the vocal in places but really is just a matter of getting the best levels between the individual parts. Thanks for using the drums. |

Love the Vox Cam, I originally wrote the part for this 80’ big hair rocker named Emily Richards - maybe you’ve heard of her? http://ccmixter.org/files/P...
Heh. But I’ll have to dig up the source and play around with this - love the hook! |
