Thanks Vic. I know what you mean. I dropped the vocal a 1/2 step but otherwise didn’t tamper with it. The vocal needs the right music to compliment it, perhaps this isn’t the piece.

did you consider one with a “straight” vocal version? To my crufty ears the lyrics are unintelligible so they end up being just an effect. It could be a killer straight up Leonard Cohen/Robbie Robertson cut, very boomerific. If not no sweat, it’s your vision, I respect that.

I’m gonna try it. I like the vocal alot. I’m thinking just a B3 and some brushed snares. Something low key.
