Although recorded only this year, Winchester’s EP “Disassembling Rainbows” has been years in the making. Beginning in Waterloo Region ON, Lauren Austin (vocals) and Monty de Luna (guitars/keys) worked with various musicians and lineups over the years before deciding to write and produce the EP together.

The band takes its name from Winchester St of Cabbagetown, Toronto ON where Lauren and Monty lived and where “Disassembling Rainbows” was recorded.

The EP was named Disassembling Rainbows by Amy Milan of Stars when Monty met her at an HMV in Toronto.
