Chris Todd is a multi-disciplinary artist and educator working solo, collaboratively, and in the public sphere. Ranging from darkly humorous to contemplative, Todd’s art draws from personal experiences and an interest in how technology, consumerism, and media combine with perception, body, and place. More specifically, his work provokes questions about how information and entertainment phenomena shape narrative and identity construction, and examines the morphology of whatness while first-hand experience and human contact become increasingly extruded.

Todd’s art has been shown in a variety of exhibition spaces, museums, public/commercial sites, and publications. He is currently a Professor of Media Arts at Mesa Community College in the Phoenix Metro Area.
