Samples are used in:

Tools I Used

Slicer, from ixi-software.net (freeware)
magix audio studio 5
sawcutter synth

Samples I Used

I used the mixter samples, as well as one song from my Disfish.com album "Collin County" called "We Wish You" (in turn a remix of a song called "We Wish You a Merry Christmas", played on kazoo) and a song from my album called "Collin County" called "Culleoka".

Process

I sliced the guitar line in Slicer, to create a morphed, somewhat distinct line. I reverbed the vocals and the guitar. Then I added the samples from "Culleoka", from "We Wish You" and from "humcycle" on additonal tracks to add to the mix, using the graphic equalizer to try to control sound levels (except for the last words of the poem, which I left loud on purpose for effect).

Other Notes

The challenge here is that the guitar line is so great, thanks to hc7, but I wanted to be sure the poem is audible.
