How I Did It
Uses samples from:

Logic Express 9.
Audacity.
iMac.

All from Fireproof_Babies' stems. Didn't even use any loops.

Process
Imported the MP3 stems into the Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). Converted them to 100 BPM (used god old Audacity, cos the conversion via Logic Express 9 turned out to be too complicated for me).
Started rearranging and laying down the parts for the drums. Cut up the samples, put them in what I thought was the right "patterns". Listened a few times til I thought they sounded right (or at least not oddly wrong).
Then repeated the same process for the guitar stems.
Finally, adjusted the mix, EQ, output volume. Not my best work. Still learning my way around the new DAW.
Other Notes
Took me several weeks before I mustered enough courage to attempt this mix. Partly because I got myself a new DAW and didn't know how to use it as well as GarageBand. Lost all my earlier proficiency... maybe it was like learning how to walk again (of course I hope I never find that out for real).
