- Soul School (REX drum loop pitched to make it sound more like a drum patter from a Scottish Pipe band)
Process
This project started out with me sending CB one of my non-ccm tracks and asked if she would record vocals to it. She did, and they were great, but the more I thought about it the more I realized that the original track didn't do the new vocals justice.
So I made a new one.
I laid down the basic chords first using a Wurlitzer, and then I used that track to play around with a synth arpeggiator and some blippy sounds. And after that I created an alternate bassline that played around with creating major harmonies from minor ones.
You know. That sort of thing.
And it pleaseth'd the guy above who said it was good, etc., etc.
And so the world turns. And another day passes.
