Process
Working with this particular acapella was an incredible treat. Songboy3 was spot on with pitch and meter, so it was easy to start with a bassline and then bring in the drums, then the organ, electric piano, guitars, and percussion.
Other Notes
This was fun. I haven't worked with a singer of this ability for over 30 years. While this isn't a current "sound" or arrangement, I felt it important to get back to my roots (or at least as close as possible). While the eyes and ears are dimmed from age, the heart still is young when performing this kind of music. Thanks again to Songboy3 for sharing his marvelous talent.
