Process
Because this started out as an experiment, I had to strip out the instrumental backing track from the original mp3 rather than asking for separate WAV files from BOCrew. Turned out OK though - I got enough of a snippet to loop and to create the basis for the track.
I then did some filter automation using a combinator box (Reason) and Thor audio routing and started adding new elements, like the electronic piano (Hohner Pianet T) and additional drums.
Oh, and I got reasonably sloshed before uploading, which tends to work pretty well for me.
