I’ve been working on some super high energy stuff so last night I decided to slow things down. WAY down as it turns out.
This will be too subtle for anybody who was born after the day before yesterday so I might as well spell it out: The chorus of this song (“Go now…”) inspired me to cop a chord progression from the Bessie Banks R&B hit from ‘64 called ‘Go Now’, later covered by the Moody Blues and even later (when the singer on the track joined Wings) by Paul McCartney’s solo band.
