As soon as I first heard the “La La La” intro I just had put some Stevie Wonder kinder bones against you. (think “My Cherie Amour” era)
Stevie’s hallmark is that he constantly shifted the vocal phrasing forward and then behind the keys to build tension until the eventual hook. I hope I did half the job…
