There is something melancholy, sad and tragic about this melody so I thought I’d give it a go on the minimalist/jazzy side of things in order to capture that vibe. My original plan was to add some big time orchestration but after trying it within this mix it was just too over the top. I decided to keep it simple: piano, acoustic bass and drums. I was a bit inebriated while doing this so please forgive the imperfections etc.!!!
