About a year ago TheJoe and I first talked about collaborating on a piece of music, but for a lot of reasons no specific project came to fruition.

Then a few months ago I sent him an outline of an idea based around the Barbarella vocals - a very simple idea consisting of bass, rhodes and drums, and we realized we had found our common ground.

Over the next couple of months, it was primarily in TheJoe’s hands (see “how I did it” for full details), and it grew into something quite special.

This really should have been a “TheJoe” track, since more than 80% of it is his contribution; but he insisted - so as result here it is. A colab upload of a “TheJoe and colab gig”.

Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoyed working on it with TheJoe. He is a true gentleman, and personifies the open spirit of collaboration that this community is all about.
