I finished this last weekend in about 3 hours and left it because I didn’t really know what to do with it next. I got some good feedback from a few people which essentially boiled down to keeping it the way it was, which is more or less what I ended up doing tonight after very minor tweaking. By which I mean adding a few things and then tossing them away, leaving it intact.

This started out very differently - had drums and a few more instruments - but it really felt the most natural stripped down to just a few. I decided to not quantize the instruments to better suit the loose feel of the track.

I have to admit I hadn’t really connected with Kristin’s vocals before, but that’s very likely because I never listened to them the right way before. So there you go - here’s my apologies for that. Hope you hear what I hear. :)
