The 1st version of Illy was recorded while I was on vacation in the Philippines. I asked the producer I worked with there to give my voice a Beastie Boys-type voice effect like on “So Watcha Want.”
But then the track sounded so dated and I don’t think people here understood the words. So I wanted to give it another try.
