I used Ivan Chew’s vocal tracks and tried to fit them into my original mix. I wanted the vocals to sound naturally and thus did not use many effects. At times I had difficulty in reducing the noise of Ivan’s mic and making both verses sound equally. Compared to Ivan’s version, I left out some of the overdubs and tried to make it all sound a little less confusing.
Now that I finished the song and listen to Ivan’s original, I am not sure if I really improved it … :D But at least, the vocals are more into the mix. Thanks a lot to Ivan! I like your singing and noticed that your intonation is much better than you were afraid of. :)
